Back crossing and inbreeding are different. Backcrossing a F1 cross to it's parent genetics would again create a back cross F-1 not an F-2. A F-2 is inbreeding the MK x RomP-19 strain with it self by using the RomP-19 x MK seeds and using a male and female RomP-19 x MK strain to make more seeds. A F-3 would be seeding a female 3rd generation MK x RomP-19 with 3rd generation male.

Simply crossing 2 strains making seeds is a F-1, use these seeds to grow out a male & female and make more seeds would be F-2. Using the F-2 seeds to make more seeds by using a male & female would create a F-3 and so on.

Back crossing is usally done in the 2nd and 3rd generations to create a more stable strain. Back crossing would be done by re-introducing the parent genetics back into the cross. Say in the 3rd back crossing of the MK x RomP-19 instead of using a RomP-19 x MK male to seed a MK x RomP-19 female one would use a RomP-19 or MK male and seed a MK x RomP-19 female or you could use a RomP-19 female and seed it with a RomP-19 x MK male and so on...

From what I get RomP19 is a "hybrid strain" now. When you breed it to it's self (another RomP19) you'll have F2 seeds. So it's not a true breeding "Strain". You'll get several types of plants from those seeds. Even more than the F1 seeds.

When you breed your RomP19 X MasterKush you'll have F1 seeds with an even larger group of genes. Breeding to make a "True Breeding" strain is a lot of work. It takes time and lots of space to work with the many plants you'll come up with.

I'm not saying you can't do it at all so don't take this that way. You just need to overstand what it takes.

Most so called Strains on the market are really Hybrids. And many are rated as ass kicking stuff. So you can simply cross what you have, grow some of the seeds and keep the best plant/plants as moms and be happy.

Not all crosses work good. You can have 2 top notch strains and cross them and they don't make good off spring for some reason. But if they do and you want to reproduce those seeds, you need to keep the original male and female plants. Another male may well not give you the same results.

Guess I mudded that up pretty well!! LOL The best thing you can do is READ, READ, Read. Grow,Grow, Grow,

I'm getting more seed pods and they're starting to get plump, they also have lil' hairs popping out of them. So hopefully I'll have a few good mature seeds to play with.
