Yeah, no purge is insane lol. Im only rocking the old school heat purge/water bath tech but it works fine for me. No whipping though. Usually get my stuff vac purged from a homie for a good deal, but sometimes I like making my own with my home grown when the season is right. Cant wait for winter, going to be a very errrlly winter going on runs daily!

Honestly made the switch over to pretty much only dabs and felt so much better lately. Been really running TRAIN on my insomnia, can completely control my sleep patterns now, when I wanna sleep I can sleep, when I dont wanna sleep I can have a cup of coffee and stay dabless for a few hrs and be fine....After the initial clearing the lungs, dabs are MUCH smoother on the throat and lungs than flowers/tobacco. I LOVE BHO. : )

my lungs throat and basically everything else has gotten so much better switching from combustion to vaping hash.

only downside is if you arent exactly financially stable it's more expensive than flowers and kicks your tolerence into overdrive FAST


edit: finally read the no purge post and that blew my mind, if dabbing isin't safe then this guy should be long dead/sick... nevermind the debate of shatter vs wax.. this dude was smoking butane bubbles and loving it lmfao

also i like the point above HMK would probably have stopped dabbing himself if it was bad for you, he's obviously been doing it longer than most of us. (why i asked his opinion directly a couple pages back)

i was here in person and what i got out of it is that they are just worried that once BHO does get to the point when the casual stoner knows about we might start to see alot more accidents happen. It definitely got the point across that you need to do your research before you attempt any extractions. IMO since ive switched from flowers to a mainly oil my lungs have greatly improved.

all i gotta say, is here and there ill pick up and observe my bag of already run buds, and i just think "this could all be burnt disgusting ash" thats enough for me to stay on the dabbing side of the spectrum.

i've said how it has been for me many times, and nothing has changed.

i do agree that making oil or hash out of unclean material can be bad for you though. i think i have seen the effects on someone who has been uncautious in what they use to make extracts, and they seem to have suffered in their respiratory system from it. cant be sure though, just my theory. if i ever have something that seems tainted, i typically dont use it.

if we could all just grow are own and run are own with the combined knowledge of all the people pushing the purge to perfection and the product will be pretty good but its not that easy i know. knowledge is power imo

This is why i started gardening in the first place!! I wanted to be able to lock down clean, cared for, quality, starting material will little or no contaminants inside!! Plant based regimen with frequent AACT innoculations changed my life!

Now I have flowers, ice extracts, and dishes full of delish sap! I haven't even done a nug run yet, but Purple trainwreck sugar ran at 10-12%(ice/water) and Hash berry/ Sour Grape sugar trim is running at 17%! Delish taste with a grat hybrid high!!
