Has anyone hit both versions of the SG recycler? (fully gridded opposed to gridded just once along the top)

I'm wondering if the vapor even flows out through any additional holes, considering the recycler is the type of piece that you kinda just sip on anyway... I figured that even if it was fully gridded, the vapor would still flow through just the top sets of holes anyway. I could be wrong though.

The old recyclers are not gridded at all, it is an illusion in photographing it I believe. Unless someone has owned one with a single grid on each slit?

I personally own one with a single grid on each slit.

6 slits, each gridded once, making a total of 12 holes.

I'm also pretty sure that there's another older version where they fully gridded JUST the last slit, and gridded the rest just once like mine.

Very interesting, apparently he has tried a lot of variations on gridding with these recyclers, mine has none at all and i believe is pretty recent.

I'm pretty sure mine was made around May-June 2011.... at least based on when it was originally purchased.

I can definitely see being confused about the gridding... before I bought mine I could never quite figure out exactly how they were made... especially since I had heard conflicting reports (simply because they actually have been made several different ways). And it is very hard to get a clear picture of the gridding since there are curves in the glass making it hard to see in a picture.

I took a couple pics just now... still hard to tell, but if you look up close you can see.

BTW... very nice burtoni recycler you have there... one of the nicest worked ones I've seen so far.

So many beautiful SG's out there.

Got myself a king stemline (upgrid) off ALT less than 2 weeks ago. Popped my scientific cherry. The nicest glass I had hit up until this was a RooR. I never knew glass could hit this good. With the B. Wilson DD slide, there is really zero drag. And it's crazyridiculouslseriouslysexy smooth just like everyone has mentioned. Without the A/C it is a little airy. I did purchase a Toro Circ A/C off of BM and it does add drag, but it's very very minimal and this is coming from somebody with baby lungs.

If you see a SG you like don't pass it up. I had done so for 2 consecutive batches that dropped on ALT and ended up regretting it because I really wanted a 60mm mini and ended up settling for a king. Don't get me wrong, the king is badass and I love it to death, but the mini is the size range I was looking for. Based on my personal preference alone. So the search continues.
